Description

The finishing touches to a story i started : [link] for the #WARRIORS-Hollow-Lake group. My character Finchfur is trying and finally seceding at Climbing the seat of starclan, a really tall landscape in Cragclan. It was supposed to be a big accomplishment so I hope i dont get any hate remark about how i "God mode" or anything. I want trying to be perfect or anything i just wanted my character to do something big. And so i spread it over a period of time in which Finchfur practiced and such. I also did one picture and two stories.

Once again the dark enveloped Finchfur as he slipped into the damp forest. The morning dew stuck to his pelt like a cobweb and glistened under the light of the stars. His paws created the only noise in the woods, their soft patter moving to the beat of his heart. The air held a stiff chill and Finchfur's anticipation hung in the air around him like a storm cloud. Once he reached the Seat of StarClan. Silverpelt was beginning to fade with the approaching sun, just a delicate thin line of light on the horizon. His neck craned upwards to the tall peak looming over him. Letting his soft belly fur brush the ground, Finchfur crouched low and firmly planted his back legs. His eyes locked onto the first legde of the rock face and he sat still. His body quivering, he sank his crurved claws into the dusty ground. The air around him began to grow heavier with the time. Throwing his weight backward into his hind legs Finchfur propelled forward in an explosive leap. Digging his front claws into the earth the tom planted his back feet on the ground and then launched into the air. As soon as his paws thumped on the solid rock he took another leap to the next ledge. His heart began to beat franticly. Trying to keep calm he took the next leap and clung to the rock. As his claws sunck in he bagan to slip slightly. He then planted his hind paws on the rock, steading himself, then scrabbled up to the small narrow outcrop above. Narrowing his eyes he focoused on the next step. With far too tall to jump up, with little to no paw holds, he sat for a minute thinking through the next move. A thin ledge slowly wound its way up the tower. Finchfur pressed his side into the cold rock and inched his way acrose the percariously narrow space. The ledge became too narrow to tread on and Finchfur stopped. Looking up slowly he could see the next ledge, the top. Slowly and carfuly he crouched and lept into the air. His claws extended and his paws outstrached in front of him, Finchfur grabed the rock and hugged it close to his chest. He began panting and felt the rock slipping under his feet scraping against his legs. Stopping for a moment he pressed his head against the rock, letting the cold stone sooth his warm and pounding head. Suddenly his back foot sliped and his full waieght tugged against his front paws still grabbing on the rock. Exausted he pulled his foot back into place, his sweat soaked body shaking with the effort. Using the last of his energy he pulled his shivering body up to the top and collapsed. His dreanched back, moving up and down slowly to his heaving lungs, shimmered in the new dawn sunlight finally peeking over the tree tops. slowly lifting his head finchfur lifted his head and sat up. His bright green eyes filled with wonder and excitement like that of a kit who had just seen the world for the first time. This is what it must be like for a bird! Finchfur mused, his eyes slowing sweeping over the familar yet so distant landscape before him. Again his heart raced but this time for a different reason, taking in the surroundings. Finchfur sat and watched the sun rise above the horizon. He felt like if he reached up to high he could scoop a paw-full of stars from the sky and take it back to camp with him. And as the sun continued to rise, Finchfur sat and watched it.
